Goal:

The Emotional Education conference will bring together scholars, teachers, community members and organizational leaders who have implemented aspects of the emotional competency model in their schools and organizations. Presentations will be made by innovators who have been working with the implementation of emotional competency in a variety of settings. In addition, Dr. Carolyn Saarni will provide a keynote speech on the subject of Emotional Competency. An important goal of the Emotional Education conference is for participants to meet and discuss opportunities to increase the emotional maturity and competency of their classrooms and workplace. A banquet will be provided as a learning and networking opportunity. The central aim of the conference is to bring together people who are interested in increasing the emotional maturity, well being and competency of our global community.

Conference Target date: November 6 and 7th

Conference Location: Shao Center in the Burnaby School District

Expiration date: October 1st, 2008 *Note: If we do not collect enough money or have enough enrollment to move forward with the conference by October 1st, then we will return everybody's money less any transaction fees (PayPal etc.). Dr. Lee Brown will determine, prior to this date, whether or not they will move forward with the event and will announce it on this site.
