DBMail is the name of a group of programs that enable the possiblilty of storing and retrieving mail messages from a database. Currently MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite can be used as database backends. Yet there is currently no DBMail port available in MacPorts (MacPorts provides an infrastructure for building, installing, and packaging open source software on Mac OS-X). This has to change. MacPorts.info is the leading MacPorts tutorial site that is establishing this bounty to fund the development of an DBMail port. This bounty is to fund a working port in MacPorts for the latest version of DBMail, including an ongoing commitment to keep the port current. Please contribute to this bounty!!
