$ 10.00 stevenjgarner created this contract on Aug 21, 2007

This bounty is for BountyUp to create a widget for each bounty that could be copied by anyone, and embedded on a third-party website - linking back to the original bounty and encouraging guests to contribute.  It would be a bonus if when linking to BountyUp.com on the embedding site, that BountyUp.com might recciprocate and link back to the embedding site.

Ideally the widget could be offered in different sizes, including a smaill thumbnail type emblem - this might require an abbreviated logo (what! no favicon!).

To collect the money, BountyUp.com would just need to provide the feature described above at no extra cost.

To find more details on this, just have a look at any YouTube.com video, and how they provide for it to be embedded on another site.

Facebook App?

Would a facebook application count for this bounty, or does it need to be a plain html/embed version?

Facebook App

I was thinking of a generic plain html/embed version that could be embedded into any site.

Got it workin

If you check out:

http://bountyup.com/widget.php?user_id=2&small=true

You'll see an example. View source on that page for how to embed your own. You can also view:

http://bountyup.com/widget.php?user_id=2

For a larger-format widget, or

http://bountyup.com/widget.php?bounty_id=39

for a single bounty.
