The vision here is to poll the ODB-II connection from the car with a relatively high frequency, displaying useful (useless?) information such as RPMs, load, speed, trouble codes, etc.
Initially this portion of the application need only show this information on the display.
Caveats:
It must be configurable (KMH / MPH, /dev/tty.usbserial , /dev/usb.device, etc)
It must be compatible with COTS Hardware (per the Software Requirements)
It must easily integrate into the larger Front-End project

Some degree of configuration (editing config file OK)
